Ten-story, six-bay. &#8216;The largest purpose-built lodging house, and at ten stories, the tallest building on the Bowery at the time of its construction.&#8217;<br>&#8220;223 BOWERY, S. Tanny&#8217;s Buy&#8217;s and Sells is on the first floor.
